Band 7 Ward Manager

Permanent position on ward 23 as Ward Manager.

Ward 23 is a 25 bedded mixed sex Acute Care of the Older Person Ward admitting patient with a wide and varied range of medical conditions including Parkinson’s.

We are seeking an innovative, highly motivated forward thinking nurse who has the ability to lead and manage the ward using expert clinical knowledge and judgement whilst providing support to staff. You will be expected to have hands on approach and excellent leadership skills to ensure high quality and safe care is delivered to the patients. 

A visible and approachable presence on the ward is expected.

The successful candidate will be supported by the Acute Care of the Older Person Matron, the other Divisional Ward Managers and Matrons and the Consultant Team.
