Cancer Services Gynaecology / Prostate MDT Coordinator

Band 4

30  hours - Monday to Friday

We are looking to recruit a confident, enthusiastic, committed individual to join the Cancer Services Team as Gynaecology MDT Coordinator.

Assigned to Gynaecology cancer tumour site, you will ensure patients are tracked throughout their cancer pathway and treated within target ensuring the national Cancer Waiting Times targets are met. On a weekly basis you will co-ordinate and minute weekly MDT meetings and ensure that all preparation and actions are carried out within given deadlines. Also to track prostate patients throughout their cancer pathway.

You will liaise closely with numerous departments across the hospital including Pathology, Radiology and the Waiting List department and a wide range of clinicians and managers.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with excellent attention to detail is absolutely essential. You should also be computer literate and be able to work on your own initiative.

If you have previous experience of working within a hospital environment, knowledge of clinical terminology and attending and minuting clinical meetings, we would welcome your application
