Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients. We are currently looking to recruit Permanent Band 5’s to work as part of our motivated and supportive team on Ward 23. Ward 23 is an Acute Care of the Older Persons Ward, which specialises in Frailty Assessment. We care for a variety of patients with both acute and long term conditions including Respiratory, Oncology, Frailty, Endocrinology and Gastroenterology.
Anyone interested in joining our team must display an enthusiastic and dynamic approach in caring for our acute elderly patients. As a permanent fixture in our team you must be adaptable and willing to learn and develop within the role. Our commitment to you is to provide the environment for this to happen and ensure that you are supported in your role. We have an excellent multi-disciplinary team who ensure that our patients care is delivered safely, effectively and compassionately.

If you are motivated to deliver high standards of care and have the personal qualities and characteristics as outlined in the Blackpool Person then this could be the post for you.
