Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients. We employ more than 6,500 staff, have approximately 900 beds and have a planned turnover in excess of £410m for 2017/2018.

Unscheduled care division
Staff nurses, WARD 6. GENERAL MEDICAL WARD.

£22,128 - 28,746 per annum pro rata

Blackpool teaching hospitals are looking for highly motivated and committed band 5 staff nurses to work on a General Medical Ward. We care for a variety of patients with both acute and long term conditions including Respiratory, Oncology, Care Of the Older Person, Endocrinology and Gastroenterology. We have strong links to all the hospital nurse specialists and community staff to ensure best treatment and continuity.

We require enthusiastic individuals with a can demonstrate a passion for Nursing and the ability to work within our friendly ward teams. They must be as enthusiastic, adaptable, willing to learn and develop within their role.
Commitment to undertake ongoing training and development is essential. You should be motivated, keen to learn and ready to embrace change. Our commitment to you is to provide the environment for this to happen and ensure that you are part of our defined preceptorship programme.
