We are looking for a Trainee HI Trainer to join the Health Informatics Education & Training (HIET) team.  The HIET team design and deliver training solutions to support the delivery of clinical and business systems across Blackpool Teaching hospitals.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Health Informatics Education and Training Team and will assist in the identification and analysis of training needs with associated support materials to develop, deliver, and evaluate training programmes to meet the needs of the organisation and its stakeholders to enable a digital ready workforce. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise and have proven planning and organisational abilities.

Attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team are also essential. You will also have good numeracy and literacy skills as well as the ability to work under your own initiative.

Educated to GCE/GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths & English grade C / 4 and above.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a Level 3 Learning & Development Practitioner qualification and complete a BKSB assessment.

The starting salary for internal NHS candidates may vary and will be discussed at the conditional offer stage of the recruitment process.

Experience working for the NHS is desired but not essential.

Due to the current Government eligibility criteria for Government funded apprenticeship schemes, we are currently only able to accept applications from candidates who have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years, and who are not already in any form of Government funded education.
