Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to advertise the post for fixed term locum Consultant Microbiologist.

We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and committed individual to join an enthusiastic team of 3 consultant microbiologists. The Microbiology team have developed and effectively deliver a ward based infection management strategy with the support of the clinical teams.

The post holder will be expected to contribute to Infection Prevention & Control and trust antibiotic stewardship programme. The department has an active portfolio of research trials.
You will hold a CCT or equivalent in Medical Microbiology, This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months.

This post attracts a 10 PA contract; the successful candidate will be participating in the 1:4 on call rota. The on call attracts a band A supplement.
