The Cardiac Theatres are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic practitioner to join the ODP team. We currently have a permanent position for an ODP/ Anaesthetic Nurse, with primary duties within anaesthetics and Recovery

Cardiac Theatres are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic Practitioner to join the ODP Anaesthetic and recovery team.

With our excellent mentorship programme you will also become proficient with thoracic airway management and point of care testing expert.


There are 4 theatres that perform over 1,200 Cardiac Cases annually as well as around 500 Thoracic cases. As well as working in the 4 theatres as an anaesthetic practitioner, there are opportunities to work in the theatre recovery area, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Cardiology Lab.

The core hours are between 07.00 and 19.00 Monday to Friday, with a 7 day, 24-hour emergency on-call service, that you will be expected to join.
