Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Rapid Response Team based at Blackpool Football Stadium. 

As a Band 4 Technical Instructor you will work within the community delivering therapy support to individuals who would have otherwise remained in hospital or been admitted to hospital from home. The team works interprofessionaly with Nurses, therapist and social workers.

You will need to be enthusiastic , be forward thinking and have a problem solving approach to patient management; excellent communication/ interpersonal skills and demonstration of the ability to support other team members is important. 

The post holder will work within a multi disciplinary nurse led team under the long arm supervision of the occupational therapists and physiotherapists. You will provide holistic care for up to two weeks working along side individuals to ensure they meet their identified goals

You will have the opportunity to develop skills that traditionally are outside the role of the traditional therapy remit.

Successful applicants will have access to clinical supervision and in-service-training.

Rapid Response operates from 08.00 to 20.00. Shift patterns will include weekend-working and Bank Holiday - To be discussed at interview.
