Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. Applications are invited for the position of Radiology Support Worker

The successful candidate will join the Diagnostic Imaging team in providing support and assistance to patients attending different imaging departments within Radiology, including Ultrasound, mammography, X-ray, CT and MR scanning. This may extend to some of the community hospitals and health centres, where imaging is undertaken. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment that is challenging, rewarding and enjoyable and in which your professional skills are respected. Enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated, you will have excellent communication skills and high standards of patient care. Training will be given.The Radiology Directorate delivers the extended working day/week in order to maximize service delivery. Therefore a flexible, professional approach is essential together with enthusiasm and self-motivation.

Working hours will be routinely between 8am and 8pm Monday to Sunday on rotation
