Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients. We employ more than 6,500 staff, have approximately 900 beds and have a planned turnover in excess of £410m for 2017/2018.

Full time – 37.5 hours per week

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and motivated qualified nurse who takes pride in delivering high quality patient care, to join us.
This is an opportunity to develop experience and knowledge of clinical research and to be part of the clinical team in the delivery of high quality patient care. Being a research nurse combines traditional patient care and nursing duties with the less familiar world of research protocols. The post holder will support an established team of research nurses working across several clinical areas within the trust.
You will be able to prioritise your own workload and display good interpersonal skills in working with the R&D team and staff of all levels both within the Trust and external partners.
You will be committed to providing holistic care to patients in line with the Compassion in Practice Framework incorporating; Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment and support the Leading Change Adding Value 10 commitments.
We will consider candidates who meet the essential criteria of the Person Specification as well as the characteristics of the Trust’s vision and values.
