Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and motivated qualified nurse who takes pride in delivering high quality patient care, to join the clinical research team.  
This is an opportunity to develop experience and knowledge of clinical research and to be part of the clinical team in the delivery of high quality patient care. Being a research nurse gives the opportunity to be involved in innovative trials which will provide the evidence base for treatments of the future. The post holder will support an established team of research nurses and allied health professionals working predominantly  in the specialty of Cardiovascular disease within the trust.
You will be able to prioritise your own workload and display good interpersonal skills in working with the R&D team and staff of all levels both within the Trust and external partners.
You will be committed to providing holistic care to patients in line with the Leading Change Adding Value 10 commitments.
We will consider candidates who meet the essential criteria of the Person Specification as well as the characteristics of the Trust’s vision and values.
