We are looking to appoint Trainee Advanced Practitioners into the Scheduled Care Directorate within the orthopaedic division.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to commence on an MSc Advanced Practitioners programme commencing September 2017. One will be undertaking an MSc at the University of Central Lancashire and one at the University of Cumbria.

There will be an expectation that as part of this training programme you will rotate and undertake placements in both the pre-operative clinic and emergency ward areas.

We are looking for exceptional nurses with a passion for providing advanced care to our orthopaedic patients.

The successful applicants will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective relationship building and work in an integrated manner with all members of the multi-disciplinary teams.

Working alongside experienced members of the multi-disciplinary team, you will build upon the skills and knowledge you already possess in order to broaden your professional boundaries and take on new roles and responsibilities.

The training for the Advanced Practitioner role will be undertaken with a combination of academic modules at the University and clinical training within scheduled care division at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. Therefore you must also meet the university requirements to be able to enrol onto the MSc course to undertake this role.

If you have the knowledge, skills and qualities we are looking for and you meet the person specification for the role then we would very much like to hear from you.

Interviews will be undertaken as a joint interview panel with members of the trust and the university being present on 4th July 2017.
