Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients. We are looking for a Trainee e-Learning Developer to join the Health Informatics Professional Development service (e-Learning Team). The e-learning team design and develop clinical and non-clinical e-learning packages to support the delivery of clinical and business systems across Blackpool Teaching hospitals.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Health Informatics e-Learning Team to assist in the development and creation of high quality, engaging and targeted e-learning packages to a variety of staff within the Trust. They promote best practice, data quality and information governance requirements in e-Learning packages.  You will be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise and have proven planning and organisational abilities.

Attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team are also essential. You will also have good numeracy and literacy skills as well as the ability to work under your own initiative.

Educated to GCE/GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths & English grade C / 4 and above.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a Level 3 Learning & Development Practitioner qualification– and complete a BKSB assessment.

The starting salary for internal NHS candidates may vary and will be discussed at the conditional offer stage of the recruitment process.

Experience working for the NHS is desired but not essential.
