Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Assistant Practitioner to join our team on the Dermatology/Rheumatology unit at Clifton Hospital. The department provides a full range of Dermatology and Rheumatology services including phototherapy, leg ulcer, dermatology surgery, topical daycase treatments, early arthritis clinic, patch test clinic and many more.


The successful applicant will work alongside an experienced medical and senior nursing team in outpatients and on our daycase unit, providing specialist care to patients with a wide range of dermatological and rheumatology conditions. You should be flexible, well organised, resilient and able to meet the challenges and demands of a busy and diverse clinical service.

As the Assistant Practitioner, you will be joining a well-established and expanding outpatients department and daycase unit where you will support the clinical staff in providing the highest quality of care to patients.

In the role you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and you will be able demonstrate the ability to provide high quality nursing care across a diverse range of patients. You should also be committed to and have evidence of on-going professional development.
