Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients. Wound Healing Nurse

Band: 6

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours

Contract: Fixed term 12 months

Location: Lytham St Anne’s Neighbourhood


An exciting new role has arisen for a Band 6 wound healing nurse to work within the Lytham St Anne’s neighbourhood.

The ideal candidate will have evidence of continuing professional development in tissue viability, leg ulcer management, nurse - prescribing also previous experience in wound care.

Essential to the role is a current knowledge of best practice to enable sound clinical decision making in assessment and care planning.

The post holder will deliver clinical advice and support to staff, patients and carers within the neighbourhood using a health coaching approach.
