Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients.  Trainee Advanced Paediatric  Nurse Practitioner

Expressions of Interest are invited to undertake the training to become an:

Advanced Paediatric Clinical Practitioner

The training will commence on the 10th September 2019 at Liverpool John Moore’s University

The course is part time over 2 years

 

Applicants should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an acute clinical setting, and have undertaken academic study to the level of BSc Degree or equivalent
  • Team player, confident and self-directed
  • The ability to demonstrate clinical competence at a high level
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good leadership and organisational skills
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent time management
  • An awareness of health and trust policies and the changing NHS environment
  • The ability to support and advise the team
  • The ability to act as a positive role model
