Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester. The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients. Expressions of Interest are invited to undertake the training to become an:

Advanced Paediatric Clinical Practitioner

The training will commence on the 10th September 2019 at Liverpool John Moore’s University

The course is part time over 2 years


Applicants should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an acute clinical setting, and have undertaken academic study to the level of BSc Degree or equivalent
  • Team player, confident and self-directed
  • The ability to demonstrate clinical competence at a high level
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good leadership and organisational skills
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent time management
  • An awareness of health and trust policies and the changing NHS environment
  • The ability to support and advise the team
  • The ability to act as a positive role model
